The organiser

This training course is organised by the Czech National Agency for the Youth in Action programme.

 

The team

Tomas Pesek  Slovak  Tomas is in international youthwok since 2000 mostly in context of programmes Youth and Youth in Action. Since 2003 he was involved in various national and international training courses. His expertise is EVS, conflict management, non-formal/outdoor education, trainings of trainers and recently also coaching.
Apart of working for NA´s within Youth in Action programe, he works also as external expert for youth policy development in Slovakia and recognition of non-formal education.  
Monika Novosadova   Czech  Monika has been involved in international youth work since 1996 in different youth NGOs on local, national, European and global level. She worked as a Secretary General of the International Young Naturefriends in the years 2002-2005, where apart from other things she has was responsible for creating its educational strategy and training potential trainers at various activities including a short-term and a long-term training for trainers. She has also been involved in the European Youth Forum on a voluntary basis and currently she is a part of its Pool of Trainers.

Since 2005 Monika is working as an external trainer for the Czech National Agency, as a part of which she has been involved in adapting the concept of non-formal education for the use of the NA to encompass both - the Czech and the European context. She has been part of the team running training courses on non-formal education since.

Monika has been involved in training activities on different topics for different organisations, including training courses for trainers and facilitators. The topics were usually connected with the educational work in the youth NGOs including courses on leadership, project management, street animation and conflict transformation.  
Jan Van Hove  Belgian  Jan started as free lance trainer in the international youth work in 2000. Since then, he was involved in several trainings for trainers. Before that, he was involved as training coordinator for several youth organisations in Belgium-Flanders.
He’s member of the trainers’ pools of the National Agency for Belgium-Flanders & the pool of trainers of the Council of Europe. He's contracted as expert for Salto-SEE (NA of Slovenia), The British council (NA of the UK) and Jint (NA of Belgium-Flanders). Jan is also member of the advice committee for the international youth projects granted by the Flemish government.
Jan initiated in 2003 the first version of the T-STEY, which was organised for the first time in Belgium.  
Tibor Skrabsky   Slovak  Tibor was involved in the international youth work since 1995 fully in the frame of Youth for Europe, YOUTH and Youth in Action programme. He worked as director of the Slovak National agency for YOUTH in the years 1999 – 2004 and has a solid knowledge about the tendencies and new approaches in the international youth work and within the YOUTH in action programme.
Tibor is involved in different types of training of trainers throughout Europe and within NGO´s as well as business companies. Lately he facilitated two training events for employees of NA´s (IOST staff meeting for information officers and staff meeting of Action 1.1 officers).
As an external expert he has been coaching the team of the Czech Youth in Action NA and also their selection committee since 2004 in order to enhance their skills in running and evaluating the international/intercultural training events.  
Vendula Johanová   Czech  Vendula is the Training and Co-operating Plan Officer of the Czech National Agency.

Vendula will take care of the organisation and logistics of the training.
